Health while traveling in Africa
Health is an important aspect of a trip to Africa. Insect repellent, such as DEET, is essential to protect against mosquitoes that can spread diseases such as malaria and dengue. Sunscreen with a high protection factor is essential in the strong sun. For stomach and intestinal problems, ORS and anti-diarrheal agents are important, especially in remote areas. A LifeStraw or water filter can be useful in regions where tap water is unreliable, so that you always have access to clean drinking water. Also remember to pack a first aid kit for minor injuries and the necessary vaccinations for your travel destination in Africa.
